The City – I can’t Decide
I finally got caught up on The City over the weekend, yes I know there has only been 3 episodes but I hadn’t seen any of them. Anyway as I was watching all of them I was sitting there thinking I can’t decide if I like this show or not, and I really want to like it. You all know Whitney was my favorite person on The Hills so I was psyched when I heard she was getting her own show. However, I am not blown away by The City like I thought I would be. I’m not sure if it is because I am not used to the new group of people yet or if it is simply because it is so obviously that the show is fake, even more so than The Hills I think. Plus I feel like the cast isn’t that likable and I don’t mean not likable like you hate Spencer and Heidi. I mean not likable in terms of I could care less about them. And poor Whitney seems so awkward in every scene, like she feels out of place or something. Don’t get me wrong I totally think she rocks but just seems awkward. Oh and that Olivia girl I can’t stand her and you can tell that her and Whitney are being forced to have scenes together. I don’t know there is just something about The City that is not jiving with me. I have decided that I will give it like maybe 2 more episodes and if I don’t start to feel differently I am going to have to drop it. I know that is harsh and I would hate to do it but seriously I just am not sure I like The City. Ok those are my thoughts let me know your thoughts on The City.
