The Bachelor & True Beauty

Alright well the new shows are back in action this week and ABC is kicking things off tonight with The Bachelor and True Beauty. I love new reality shows.
Ok so clearly we all know that Jason Mesnick was rejected by DeAnna Pappas and is now the new Bachelor. We also know that he does find love and is now engaged. Which means there really isn’t that much more for me to say about The Bachelor, except that Jason is such a cute guy that I think I will watch it anyway. Even though I am quite frankly really sick about hearing about him being The Bachelor etc, etc. Plus I have serious issues with it being released that he was engaged but despite all that I am so going to tune in tonight for the 2 hour premiere at 8PM EST.
Now on to a show that quite honesty I was all set to not watch but I am kind of intrigued by it now is True Beauty. The show is produced by Ashton Kutcher and Tyra Banks and basically takes a bunch of really good-looking people and judges them on their inner beauty. The kicker here is that the contestants don’t know they are being judged on inner beauty. In the end of the 8-episode show one contestant will be crowned the person who is truly beautiful inside and out. The winner will be featured in People’s 100 Most Beautiful People issue. There is part of me that thinks this show could have a huge amount of potential and part of me that thinks it is could be a crap reality show. Like I said I have not decided yet if I am going to watch but I will as always keep you informed.
