It has been explosive in the Big Brother house the past couple of weeks, and I am loving every minute of it. Keesha, with some help from Libra, sent that tool Jesse packing last week flipping the entire house. Nice job girls. Unfortunately Michelle then won Head of Household and at her request the house sent Libra packing tonight. In between the two evictions the house was in an uproar, with Dan, America’s player taking an unnecessary amount of ridicule from Jerry. Personally in the last week Dan has become my pick to win it all. I haven’t had a favorite this whole time, and the way he has been playing the game, sold me. Granted in the beginning he did annoy me, but he has grown on me. It was actually his accepting America’s Player and the way he has dealt with the heat that have made him my favorite. As for Jerry he needs to go. He clearly needs to be reminded that he broke his word to Brian, so he is in no position to be so judgemental. Libra said it best tonight, it is a game, and it is called Big Brother for a reason. Speaking of Libra I don’t really have an opinion on her eviction. I wanted her to stay because she causes sosoo much drama, but I was really rooting for Keesha to stay. I am all about the Keesha, Renny, Dan and Memphis alliance. Since Renny is the new Head of Household my guess is that alliance will be just fine this week. I am keeping my fingers crossed that Renny nominates, Jerry, April or Michelle. I am betting she will pick April and Jerry. Who do you think Renny will nominate? Tune in Sunday at 8PM EST on CBS to see if my prediction is correct.
And Survivor Fans, I saw a promo for the new Survivor tonight during Big Brother, it begins September 18th, and it looks GOOOD!

Former Bachelorette Deanna may have chosen snowboarder Jesse, but the other three guys who vied for her heart are moving on.
Graham Bunn is currently dating All My Children starlet Chrishell Stause. Apparently the couple has been together for some time, but wanted to make sure it was real before going public. The couple claims they are extremely happy together. The duo can thank mutual friend and Chrishell’s AMC costar Colin Egglesfield for their happiness, he introduced the new couple.
Jeremy Anderson is currently dating former Bachelor London calling finalist Chelsea Wanstrath. Although the two have not confirmed how they met or how long they have been dating, one can only assume they met at an ABC function, perhaps a Bachelorette after party of some sort.
As for the single father who stole the hearts of women all over America Jason Mesnik. ABC has set up an email address for fans to contact him. And even though ABC has yet to confirm it, word on the street is that Jason will be the next Bachelor and that the show will film in Seattle so Jason does not have to leave his 3-year-old son Ty. Jason may not have found a new woman like Graham or Jeremy but it looks like he is headed in the right direction. Stay tuned to see if Jason will in fact be the next Bachelor. ABC will make the announcement some time in August.
Looks like alls well that ends well, Deanna found her true love, and the other three guys are moving on.

Season 4 of the MTV hit show The Hills begins next Monday August 18th. Until then if you are having Hills withdrawls, like me, you can check out the newly released Season 3 DVD. Each season of The Hills gets better and better. Season 3 finds Spencer and Heidi’s relationship in turmoil, Lauren befriends Spencer’s sister Stephanie, and Lo comes between Lauren and Audrina. Good stuff I tell you.
As you all know I am a huge fan of The Hills. I know it’s fake, even the producers have admitted to reshoots, editing, etc. It’s still awesome. There is one thing that bugs me though about each new season. Since it is still being labeled a Reality show, how come the show never shows scenes of the paparazzi following the girls, or the girls talking about their newfound fame. I mean come on Spencer is a total media whore, how is it that that isn’t caught on camera.
I obviously can’t wait for Season 4. I watched the trailer and let me tell you it is great. Heidi’s sister moves to LA, no doubt because no one wants to hang out with Spencer and Heidi. Lo continues to come between Aurdrina and Lauren, and Whitney may or may not move to New York. Even She Pratt shows her true colors. I got all of that just from watching the trailer. Nice!
So until next Monday my friends when the new Season of The Hills begins. In the mean time everyone knows I am a freak about The Hills, but what about you? Share your views on the phenomenon known as The Hills with me.

The wait is over! Tonight the Beijing Summer Olympics officially kick off and you can catch it all on NBC. Opening ceremonies begin at 7:30 PM EST. Every four years the world gathers to watch the greatest athletes come together to see who will win the gold. Events range anywhere from archery, to swimming, to gymnastics. NBC will be airing various events through out the two-weeks, including the open and closing ceremonies. Go to www.nbc.com for a complete schedule of the Olympics. If you have been watching any of the trials then you know that the USA has some outstanding athletes hoping to bring the gold back home. Some of the athletes include swimmers Michael Phelps and Dara Torres and gymnast Shawn Johnson. Although I am rooting for all the athletes of Team USA, I am keeping my fingers crossed that Shawn Johnson gets the gold. She is an Iowa girl after all.
I realize that the Olympics aren’t your typical Reality TV show, but let’s be serious here; the Olympics are the original Reality TV competition. The Olympics are such a pivotal even that I could not let today go by without writing about them. Personally I love the Olympics. When else does the world essentially come together. It’s like for two weeks the world really becomes one. Granted I am like anyone else and I don’t like to watch all the events but I do watch it. My favorite events are swimming, soccer and gymnastics.
Best of luck to all the athletes competing in the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics

Although only in the talking stages right now, it looks like Jodi Sweetin is getting her own reality show. The former Full House star is in talks with several networks and has apparently picked a network for the show. However, nothing formal has been signed. The star, who became famous as Stephanie Tanner on Full House, and her husband are thrilled with the idea of doing a show about their life. Jodi claims it will be fun to show the other side of a celebrity life, a semi-normal life. I find that interesting since she hasn’t really been a celebrity since she was like 12, but I’ll buy it for now. After all every other D-lister is breaking into Reality TV so why not her. Jodi is married to Cody Herpin and the two-welcomed daughter Zoie in April. At this time Jodi and hubby are keeping their lips sealed about the title of the show.
Everyone knows there is a Reality Couple curse, the break ups of Nick and Jessica, Carmen and Dave, you get where I am going with this, but Jodi insists she and her husband will break that curse. Good luck to her with that, cause she is so going to need it.
Jodi hasn’t had an easy time since her Full House days came to an end, a couple of years ago she admitted to having a meth addiction which eventually caused her first marriage to fall apart. It is nice to see her bouncing back from such a terrible addiction.
Stay tuned for more details Jodi’s new show, word is that filming could begin in the next couple of months.

Tonight NBC will air The Baby Borrowers Town Hall Meeting at 9PM EST. The producers and cast reunite for a town forum to discuss the controversial show. Topics such as teen pregnancy and whether or not the show exploited children will be discussed. Dr. Drew Pinksey of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew fame will be on hand to help out.
Here some interesting info, it appears that all five couples have broken up. Yep these teen couples have decided they are not ready for a baby, and apparently they weren’t ready for love either. So was it the show that caused these break ups? Well if you ask Sasha Anderson & Jordan Cameron, they say the show actually brought them closet at the time. Each couple simply states that the process helped them realize that they were not meant to be together. Honestly these couples were so young, is anyone really surprised that their relationships could not withstand the show. I would assume it is difficult enough to be on a reality show, much less one that throws you into all the stages of parenthood. I commend these young adults for trying and this, and for realizing they are too young to be parents. Sorry I know I got a little preachy there for a second. Anyway I don’t know anyone who actually watched this show, and I haven’t heard how it did in the ratings, so it will be interesting to see if NBC renews this show for a second season. Only time will tell. As always if you watched the show let me know your thoughts.

There is big news on the So You Think You Can Dance front. Fox has renewed the hit summer reality show for another season. The show from 19 Entertainment will air Season 5 next summer. As for the current season, the two-night season finale begins Wednesday, August 6th at 8PM EST, as the final four contestants battle it out. Then tune in on Thursday, August 7th at 8PM EST when one of the lucky contestants is crowned America’s favorite dancer.
Now I know I said that I was going to watch this show, because we all know how much I love dance shows, but I didn’t. The reason I didn’t was simply because in the beginning it was on 2 nights a week for 2 hours. I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I can’t commit that much time to one show. Anyway that is beside the point. I was at dinner the other night and some friends were talking about how they are addicted to this show. A debate of sorts started about who would win the show, Joshua or Courtney. It actually got a little heated there for a few minutes too. I attempted to ask about the other candidates but was told that really only Joshua and Courtney mattered. So since my friends clearly have their picks, I wanted to hear from my readers. Tell me who you think is going to be names America’s Favorite Dancer?
The season finale of So You Think You Can Dance also brings to an end the Snuggle Happy Dance Contest. You can watch the winning entries at www.fox.com/dance/snuggle.

Do you want to work for Diddy? Well 13 lucky people will get the chance to vie to be Sean P. Diddy Combs next personal assistant. And of course the process will take place on TV courtesy of VH1. I Want To Work for Diddy premieres tonight at 9PM EST on VH1. Diddy doesn’t actually appear in the show until it gets down to a few contestants. In the mean time each week the candidates will be put through a range of challenges. Apparently many of the challenges are actually based on real life experiences from Diddy’s previous assistants. Each week the contestants will be judged by a panel of intimidating judges, which include: Kevin Liles, Executive Vice President of Warner Music Group, Capricorn Clark, one time personal assistant to Diddy and Bad Boy Marketing Executive, Phil Robinson, Diddy’s ultimate henchman, and of course Diddy.
I am not at all surprised that this is how Diddy is looking for an assistant. Diddy likes to have his hand in everything, from music, to clothes, to Reality TV. He already had a huge success with Making the Brand, so why not capitalize on that success. Personally I wouldn’t want to work for Diddy, but I can see why people would. The show has potential; I would tune in just to see what kind of challenges the candidates face. Good luck to all the candidates as they vie for their dream job of working for the one and only Diddy. May the best man or woman win.
As for my faithful readers, let me know what you think of Diddy’s new show.

That is right Pamela Anderson is on the loose. The former Baywatch babe has joined the world of Reality TV. Tonight Pam’s new show Pam Girl on The Loose debuts at 10PM EST on E!. Yes my friends you can now have an inside look into the life of Pamela Anderson. First Denise now Pam what in the world is E! trying to do to us. Pam has one thing over Denise though; Pam is not allowing her sons Dylan and Brandon to be on the show. The eight-episode show was shot when the kids were at school or at camp. Pam makes it clear that the cameras are not allowed in her house when the boys are there. She gets points in my book for that. Ok so all that kid stuff aside, what is Pam’s show really about. Well it is an unprecedented look into the blonde bombshell’s life. The interesting thing about this show, other than the obvious, is it is going to be shot documentary style. All episodes were either shot on film or on Pam’s personal video camera. I don’t really have an opinion about Pamela Anderson either way. I mean she is who she is, she isn’t afraid to show it and she doesn’t apologize for it. I do admire that, but I am pretty sure I am not going to watch this show. I am kind of bored with the whole celebrity reality thing. Over load I guess. Anyway as always if you watch this show I would love to hear your opinion.

I am shocked at last night’s Big Brother eviction. I can’t believe the Houseguests voted out Angie over that tool Jesse. It was the perfect opportunity to get rid of one of the biggest threats in the house, even though I don’t like him, even I know he is a threat. I just don’t understand why they would chose Angie over Jesse. You know what is going to happen now, he is going to win HOH, then the Veto, etc and turn into even more of a cocky jerk then he already is. UGH, so annoying, but again that is the name of the Big Brother game. Let’s just pray he doesn’t win HOH, or next will suck for the houseguests. Ok I will quit complaining now. Other than the Angie eviction, last night’s episode was great, the earthquake, the fights, the controversy. I have one question though, why is everyone against Jerry? Granted he should not have called Memphis a womanizer, but Michelle flipped out when Jerry was only speaking the truth. When Jesse was HOH, Jesse, Angie, Michelle, and Memphis all walked around like they were running the house. Michelle is another one that I can’t stand. She needs to go too. In the mean time, I love that Dan was voted America’s Player. It is perfect cause he is hanging on by thread anyway, so it will be interesting to see how this twist plays out. Will it help or hurt his game, guess we’ll have to wait and see?. Since we won’t find out who is HOH until Sunday, I am going to cross my fingers that Dan doesn’t win, because that will make the America’s Player aspect so much better. Until next week my Big Brother fans.

So there are some things happening on the Real Housewives front. Let’s begin with the news that The Real Housewives of New York has been picked up for a second season. The new season will bring a new housewife into the mix. Kelly Bensimon joins Alex, Bethany, Jill, LuAnn and Ramona. Kelly is a designer, model, author, fashion editor, and of course a staple in Manhattan society. I am sure Kelly will add even more drama to the already drama filled Real Housewives of New York City. Season 2 is currently being shot in Manhattan and The Hamptons. Bravo has also ordered but a fourth season of the original housewives, The Real Housewives of Orange County to be back in the spring. Also word on the street is that Bravo is developing The Real Housewives of New Jersey. All I can say about that is, interesting. What is it with networks that get a hit show and then make a ton of different franchises, CSI, Law and Order, etc. I understand capitalizing on a hit, but sometimes too much of a show is not a good thing. Personally I didn’t like The Real Housewives of New York as much as I did Orange County. In the mean time if you are having Real Housewives withdrawal, never fear Bravo is currently running a preview clip of the upcoming The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Check out Bravotv.com for specific air times. Wow that is a lot of good whiney women Housewives drama to coming so stay tuned for more information.

After I saw Corey Haims meltdown on Perezhilton.com, I decided it might be worth it to check out his Reality show with Corey Feldman, The Two Corey’s. So I set up my DVR and recorded 4 episodes. All I can is what a waste of my DVR space. I should have just stuck with my initial instinct from watching the pilot in Season 1, which was, this show is not good. I only made it through two episodes, which is more than I watched in Season 1 so I made progress. Honestly though I can’t believe I wasted an hour of my life watching these two guys. Corey Haim is a drug addict who blames his addiction on everyone except himself. Corey Feldman has a great family, but spends his time ranting about how Haim did him wrong. I get that these two have serious issues and the point of the show now is to mend the clearly destroyed friendship of the once famous duo. However, I think that someone should tell The Coreys that sometimes it is just better to let a friendship go when it isn’t working. Of course then neither one of them would have a reality show if that happened. I will say it makes me a little sad to see how messed up each Corey is, in different ways, but nonetheless they are both screwed up. Anyway I have yet again given you my opinion, and now I want to hear yours. Have you watched The Two Coreys? If you have watched the show, share your thoughts with me.

Elizabeth Berkley has inked a deal with MTV to develop what is being called an unscripted show. The former Saved by The Bell star is basing the show on the self-esteem workshop Ask Elizabeth that she created. Apparently Berkeley has spent the last couple of years giving workshops around the country that try to help empower girls. Jesse Spano teaching Girl Power seminars, I think I like it. Hey in today’s society you can never have too many organizations, workshops, seminars, etc that teach girls, or really any kids, teenagers and young adults about self-esteem. I am quite impressed with Elizabeth Berkley creating such a workshop for girls, and to bring it to television is great. I do admit it will be interesting to see how the seminars are turned into a show. Since the show hasn’t even been shot yet there isn’t much to say about it. I look forward to hearing more about this show, and checking it out once it begins. And can I say I am glad that Elizabeth Berkley is getting her own show, I was worried she might be desperate enough to make Showgirls 2.
A side note though, I am surprised that MTV picked up a show like this, I mean unless MTV totally screws it up, this show could actual have some substance. You all know I love The Hills, but we all know it is not a show with any sort of depth to it. No specific time as to when this show will debut, MTV is looking to shoot the pilot in the fall. So stay tuned for more developments on the new Elizabeth Berkley show.

It looks like there is trouble in paradise for Kathy Griffin’s infamousTeam Griffin. Jessica Zajicek, Kathy first assistant, has quit. Anyway Jessica had enough of Kathy’s crazy shenanigans and left at the beginning of July. I am truly baffled that Jessica left. I mean she worked for Kathy for years, which I guess is the one of the reasons for Jessica’s departure. Although she seemed to have things pretty good on Team Griffin, getting drunk a lot, trips to Australia and Bora Bora. That definitely sounds much better then my day job. I am sure the job is harder than it looks on TV, and that Kathy is probably not as great as she appears on her show. But seriously all I can say is WOW, no more Jessica. I wasn’t all that impressed with Jessica, so I admit I am not too sad to see her go. Shocked yes, sad not so much. I wonder what this means for Team Griffin, and Kathy’s reality show. Oh and in case you were hoping to catch the Jessica drama on Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List, the show is currently not in production, bummer for us fans. I have a feeling Team Griffin and the show will be just fine, I am sure there are a number of people dying to work as Kathy’s assistant. Plus this could mean great things for Tiffany. Whatever happens I wish Jessica good luck in her adventures, and Kathy call me I have always said I would love to be a member of Team Griffin.

Although I would like to say it isn’t true, it’s looking like
Ashley Dupre could be going to from call girl to Reality TV star. Oh yes my faithful readers it seems anything goes in the Reality TV world. Apparently Ashley, who is rumored to be working with Handprint Entertainment, is in talks with MTV for her own Tila Tequila type show. In case you have been living under a rock, Ashley Dupre is the call girl that pretty much cost former New York Governor Elliot Spitzer his job last March. To set the record straight I firmly believe both Ashley and Elliot are despicable for what they did. Anyway, Ashley thinks that the best way to get past what happened is to have her own show. After all that how all people deal with problems and scandals, they get their own Reality show, right?
All I can say about this is, you’ve got to be kidding me! Is it just me or can anyone get a reality show these days. I realize that most reality shows with “known famous” people are so those same people can keep their 15 minutes of fame, but is MTV and the Reality TV so desperate that they are going to reward Ashley’s bad behavior with her own show. What kind of message does that send? Yes I know most of what makes Reality TV so great is bad behavior but this is too much. Let me make it clear, if this show does end up happening I will NOT watch and I might have to seriously think about boycotting MTV. Although I am not sure how I would give up watching The Hills and The Challenges. Alright, you have heard my 2 cents on toe subject, so tell me what you think about the possibility that Ashley Dupre will be getting her own shown?
