“On the Lot”’s ratings recover
While the format of the show has improved over the last several weeks, the damage of the first week of shows was crippling. FOX has consistently been losing viewers with each episode of “On the Lot”, almost 3 million each airing. The good news? Tuesday’s show saw a resurgence of viewers to the ailing reality TV show. And thank goodness, because if the show continued losing viewers, they would have found themselves in the negatives. Maybe the public finally knows when to tune in (with the constantly changing schedule, that’s a surprise right there) or maybe the viewers who had tuned in initially heard about the changed format of the show and are giving it a second chance. Whatever the reason, I’m sure the executives over at FOX are breathing a sigh of relief today. “On the Lot” was supposed to be the reality show to beat this summer and has so far failed to live up to its own hype, unfortunately. Let’s hope that the ratings continue to rise or at least stay steady for the duration of the show. I don’t think it’s that bad, because if I did, I definitely wouldn’t be tuning in every week. Sure, the hostess is pretty horrid, but the films are interesting and that’s what the whole point of this show is supposed to be.
